Welcome to the CMTAA website

As those of us who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease are well aware, we have it for life, and at this point in time there is no known cure. The CMT Association of Australia Inc (CMTAA) was established to support those with CMT, their families and friends; and to expand community awareness and understanding of CMT. We are staffed entirely by volunteers.

Significant progress is being made through worldwide collaboration, including establishing CMT support organisations like CMTAA Inc; developing management strategies for those with CMT; and through CMT research.

This website is positioned as a conduit for accessing local and international CMT related information that will assist in answering many of your questions. We invite you to explore the site and welcome your feedback for further improvement.
